Sahir Gill has been selected by the Chicago Steel in the USHL Entry Draft in the 5th round.
This accomplishment caps off a junior A rookie season filled with highlights that include winning; The Fred Paige Cup (BCHL Championship), The Doyle Cup (Pacific Championship) and the Royal Bank Cup (National Championship)
Gill, a member of the Vernon Vipers, notched 18 goals and 21 assists in 54 games this season. In the 2009 playoffs, Gill finished 3rd in team scoring with 17 points in 17 games.
